Description
The suggested topic of this course project is to make an animation that can promote CUHK or Dept. of CSE. While the concept of our animation came from movie trailers (previews of upcoming movie releases) and starting movies in video games - movie that mixed with attractive graphics and appealing music that impresses the audience in short time, we present in this way in the animation.

The only character in the animation is a model of a school bus of CUHK. It keeps running in two scenes, the bridge of Engineering Building and an imaginary underground car park (the design of the car park is actually based on that of Lady Shaw Building). The school bus is modeled in details that we spent a lot of time to make it in fine pieces with different materials and textures. The bridge is also modeled in a serious and careful way that we make measurement directly on the bridge so that we can present the bridge with real dimensions.

To make it more challenging and interesting, we designed the two contrasted scenes. We paid special attention to lighting effects since we need to manage the lighting under daylight and inside dark car park as well as the front lights of the bus. It was a hard job. Hope you can enjoy the show.
